The clerk of the National Assembly of The Gambia, Dodou C.M. Kebbeh on Wednesday challenged Sainey Jaiteh member for Serrekunda Central to a fist fight at the Regional Head Office, Ministry of Education, Janjanbureh, CRR where the National Assembly outreach forum was held.
The clerk was seen being held by some members of the assembly as he forced his way towards Jaiteh in an attempt to punch him.
According to the clerk, Sainey told Omar Khan the governor of Central River Region who replaced the recently sacked Ganyi Touray that there wasn’t enough food at the gathering; when a lot of money had been pumped into the outreach forum.
Clerk Kebbah described Jaiteh as a hypocrite and wanted to tackle him in a fist fight, but Sainey Jaiteh responded that he had nothing to do with the food issue at the outreach because he took all his food at the house of his friend Foday Jamanka, the national assembly member for Janjangbureh.
